Construction of a super-adobe Eco-dome

Video made by the Cal-earth Institute showing the transformation of a mound of earth into a small house called Eco Domo via Superadobe technology.

Architect Nader Khalili, Iranian by origin but living in California, created this technique to build houses with a system called "superadobe," using only sandbags, local earth and barbed wire. The result has been approved as secure against earthquakes by the demanding authorities in the State of California.
