whyarchitecture – Le Parapluie

Le Parapluie is a house created by French architecture studio whyarchitect. It is a second home 150 sqm (1,600 sqft) with four bedrooms, a kitchen-dining room, a living room, a terrace, three bathrooms and a storage area for surfboard. The house is organized around a red cylinder, the rainwater storage tank. The morphology of the roof, an inverted umbrella, recovers the water and carries it to a central point.
